Isis is now embarking upon her 30th year of holistic hair braiding, ancestral hair care and education in Dallas and nationwide. YOU can participate in the first installation of Isis' Holistic Hair and Beauty Tour in Dallas, Texas at Salon 972 17290 Preston Road #104 Dallas, TX.
The workshops will cover the span of two days on September 12th and 13th 2010.
On September 12th there will be two sessions:
The first class --Natural Hair Without a Comb 101, will cover sanitation, bacteriology, curl pattern, hair textures, proper shampooing, scalp treatments, scalp disorders, product compatibility, proper tension and natural hair braiding techniques without extensions. Time: 12:30pm-3:30pm. COST- $200
The second class is Micro Braid and Two Strand Twist Extension Correction. This class covers the proper techniques in adding extension fibers including weight compatibility, human fiber vs. synthetic fiber, proper home care maintenance, proper shampooing, curl pattern texture, style formations, and finishing touches.
Time: 4:40pm-7:30pm. COST- $200
On September 13th there will be one session:
This class is called Lock Tightening Grooming and Maintenance 101. It will introduce a new revolutionized way of locking hair gel, wax and twisting free. This class will focus on scalp conditions lock maintenance habits, shampooing techniques, separation of locks, excess build up, combining weak locks, extension loc wrapping, creating new locks, home maintenance, product compatibility, scalp cleaning loc tightening, healthy eating for beautiful locks and more!
Time: 12:30pm- 3:30pm. COST-$200
